The Vietnamese American Cancer Foundation (VACF) is a dedicated to preventing cancer, improving patient quality of life, and saving lives through cancer education, research, advocacy, and services in the Vietnamese community.
The Vietnamese community is one of the fastest growing immigrant communities in United States. Similar to any other ethnic groups, Vietnamese community has a need for language and culturally appropriate information related to cancer to address specific and unique needs of the community. Additionally, Vietnamese cancer patients and their family need psychosocial supports that could address their unique culture and beliefs.
SERVICE
The Vietnamese American Cancer Foundation serves everyone, regardless of race, ethnicity, social status, gender, age, religion, political affiliation, sexual orientation, or ability to pay. All of VACF programs and services are free of charge.
NON-PROFIT STATUS
The Vietnamese American Cancer Foundation is recognized by IRS (internal Revenue Service) as a tax-exempt, public benefit non-profit organization described in section 501 (c) (3).
